Typically, a recording Post will contain an embedded (e.g. YouTube) player for a single “track” (YouTube video).
Delivering content via YouTube enables us to treat recordings of concerts, etc. as “User Generated Content” and avoid copyright and licensing issues (see https://johnrutter.com/useful-info/using-music-legally) .
Equally, a Post could wrap a YouTube playlist; or a locally hosted mp3 file (but see above); or …
Longer term, we could add additional categories to group or sub-divide the recordings.
